Willow Basket Weaving Weekend

Join herbalist Linda Conroy for this fun and inspiring weekend of harvesting, processing and weaving Willow. In the field we will wild harvest willow and learn the art of water dousing. Once we have gathered our materials we will then return to Moonwise Herbs studio to process willow for crafting (we will make our own willow charcoal for sketching), medicine making (everyone will make a tincture and/or infused oil and basket weaving. Everyone will leave with their medicine and crafts in their newly woven basket. This will be a very small gathering, as our studio is quite small (3 people Maximum. Everyone will receive personal guidance as you weave your basket. Join in on the fun and learn to work with this very versatile plant. Bring a sharp pocket knife and clippers.
