People around the world ferment vegetables, fruit, grains, milk, meat and beverages. This course will provide an overview of the principles, techniques and history of fermentation. Through lecture as well as hands on experience and delicious samples, participants will leave with an understanding of the common traits and differences associated with fermenting food and beverages.
