July 11, 2020 (9am-5pm) in Edgerton, WI (address to be sent upon registration)
In this program you will learn to incorporate herbs into your diet for optimal health and to make herbal medicines for the home apothacary. Learning to prepare herbs for optimal health is an art and Linda has mastered this art. She will offer many tips from her 25 years of forgaing and cooking with foraged food. We will identify plants, harvest, make nourishing condiments, eat a nourishing lunch and prepare seasonal herbal medicines. Participants will leave with recipes and preparations that we make in class.
Includes supplies, nourishing herbal infusions as well as a wild and whole food lunch. In order to keep everyone safe, you are asked to bring your own place setting, a mask, and prepared to sit a safe distance from others.
These classes will be kept small and in the interest of health, we will be able to maintain a safe distance as we work with the plants outside. Canopies will be available in case of inclement weather.
